How do I prepare a sample when I am looking for a PTM like phosphorylation, acetylation etc.?

For this type of project we generally do a 3 enzyme approach. We will digest with 3 different enzymes to ensure overlapping coverage. We ask the user to run three lanes of the protein of interest and send us all three lanes in one tube. You will need to read and email us the form below.

If my goal is N-terminal, C-terminal sequencing, or any protein modification what forms should accompany my sample(s)?

We will need the exact sequence, with all tags and modifications, of the protein you are sending for analysis. You will need to email us the form below. (proteomics@fas.harvard.edu)
